Painted Good Morning Magnolia

Everyone loved the colored pencil version but not many people love to color that way.  I had seen some doing the whitewash technique with the Whisper White Craft Ink and water on Crumb Cake.  Decided to give it a try.

First, I inked up the Magnolia stamp with Versamark and then Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder.  I am not a fan of black embossing powder, even though I use the Embossing Buddy, there is always a stray speck of black somewhere.

Mixed some Whisper White Craft Ink Refill with water and used an Aqua Painter to apply a white wash all over the image, then set it aside to dry for about an hour.  Then I put some Rose Gold Shimmer paint on a clear block and mixed it with water and used it to shade the flower, it's so sparkly in person.  On the leaves, I used Garden Green all over and then used Shaded Spruce along the edges.  Then a little Pineapple Punch for the center of the flower.

Let dry before assembling the card.

Everything is Rosy Alternatives

I know you may be tired of the color combo of
Melon Mambo, Night of Navy and Rose Gold,
so I thought I would make something different
to show how versatile this stamp set and dies are.

The birthday card colors are:
Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Pineapple Punch.

The Graduation Card was made using Poppy Parade and Pacific Point, school colors.  The Polka Dot Numbers came from the March 2019 Paper Pumpkin Subscription.  It was the 6 year anniversary for Paper Pumpkin and it came with a bonus stamp set!
